Main Purpose of the Role:
AYBL are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Executive to support the Sourcing Manager in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers to meet the company’s supply chain needs. This role will play a key part in expanding our supplier base, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective sourcing, and supporting supplier relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sourcing Manager in researching and identifying new suppliers across relevant categories.
- Evaluate supplier credentials, product offerings, pricing, and capacity to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Coordinate the supplier onboarding process, including collection of necessary documentation, samples and compliance checks.
- Support in conducting supplier due diligence and risk assessments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date supplier records in internal systems.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Monitor supplier performance and flag any issues to the Sourcing Manager, following up on corrective action plans where necessary.
- Support the team in sourcing initiatives in line with business strategy
- Serve as a key point of contact for new and existing suppliers, ensuring transparent and consistent communication to support strong, aligned partnerships.
- Stay informed on market trends and emerging suppliers relevant to activewear industry
Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of experience
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or other relevant field.
- Experience working with manufacturers
- Ability to evaluate supplier capabilities
- Familiarity with compliance standards
- Understanding of market dynamics and the impact that has on business operations
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
