Main Purpose of Role:

AYBL Group are looking for an exceptionally technical, in-house Product Restorer. Equipped with a high level of experience in sewing and garment construction across a diverse product range, to support the Warehouse Returns Team. In this role you will work alongside and report to our Inbound & Returns Supervisor, repairing and restoring garments to reduce waste and prolong their life cycle, whilst ensuring they align with our brand quality standards and are fit for both purpose and sale.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Working closely with the Returns department to repair and restore products ensuring they uphold brand quality standards and are fit for purpose and sale.
  • Cleaning and steaming products to ensure products are restored in line with our brand quality standards and are fit for purpose and sale.
  • Providing support to the returns department operatives in spotting faults and identifying if faults are fixable.
  • Identifying common faults and reporting these to the Design and Customer Service teams to rectify for future production.
  • Assisting on any QC initiatives when required.
  • During quieter periods, you will be required to support the returns department in unpacking and processing returns.
  • Any other duties required by your supervisor/manager.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in a seamstress/similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, garment technology or similar would be advantageous but not crucial.
  • High level of experience in operating industrial and domestic sewing and overlocker machines.
  • Good relevant knowledge in fabrics, trims and components.
  • Good knowledge across multi product.
  • Excellent eye for detail.
  • Driven work ethic, taking ownership of your work/role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Passionate about making a difference.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
